I'm so pissed, that stupid Japan Prime Minister might get my flight to Japan in January canceled if the situation gets worse. Many friends have suggested to me that I should not go, I'm under a lot of pressure.

The initial one was the best. Then they kept adding volume to it and it just didn't hit like the Coachella version.

Exactly and same goes for the very first wavy blonde with wispy bangs. She looked super cute. 

I don't think she will be winning AOTY, sadly. ROTY is the best bet.

 

Gaga was genuinely robbed when Arcade Fire won AOTY over TFM. BTW was a strong contender but 21 was the obivous winner that year. Love For Sale would have been an odd choice as it's her worst jazz album and didn't do much commerically (even if it was a touching moment in her relationship with Tony). 

 

Gaga's artistry is often praised in retrospect, which is an interesting phenomenon that needs to be unpacked. MAYHEM is the first time Gaga's received acclaim in real-time for her solo music, and I think that is where the narrative comes that Kendrick is more overdue than her. If she can follow it up with an album of similar or even better quality, she will be a shoe-in for AOTY in the future.
