On July 6, Dr. Luke responded. First, he opposed Kesha's request to hear both appeals together: he wanted to significantly delay the whole process by arguing them separately. Second, he opposed Kesha's request for an expedited briefing schedule on the grounds that his lawyers have a trial scheduled for late August (during the briefing period of the appeal).

 

On July 7, Kesha's appellate lawyer filed a second letter with the Court of Appeals requesting an amended expedited briefing schedule so that both of her appeals could be argued in November and rebutting Dr. Luke's opposition letter.

 

On July 8, Dr. Luke responded to that letter. He reiterated his opposition to hear both of Kesha's appeals together and objected to Kesha's proposed amended expedited briefing schedule on the grounds that his lawyers have another trial commencing in October.

 

On August 22, Kesha's appellate lawyer filed a third letter with the Court of Appeals requesting a calendar preference for oral argument in November and revealing the Court of Appeals granted Kesha's request to hear both of her appeals together, despite Luke's opposition. Additionally, he revealed that the clerk of the court rejected Kesha's request for an expedited briefing schedule in light of Luke's opposition, but still ensured him "that a November oral argument remained a possibility under the briefing schedule established by the court".

 

On August 28, Dr. Luke responded to the calendar preference letter. Dr. Luke once again opposed Kesha's request for a calendar preference in November given that the aforementioned trial could allegedly last well into November, conflicting with the oral argument dates at the Court of Appeals. He likewise accuses Kesha of being responsible for the delay by making multiple appeals to the Court of Appeals and says she has no right to suggest one of Dr. Luke's other lawyers instead of his lead lawyers could argue the appeals.

 

According to the today-filed letter with the trial court, the Court of Appeals has not yet decided on Kesha's calendar preference request for November.

Having a major High Road phase right now - wow what an album!!!! I did love it when it came out but slept on it the last couple years but I'm back.  

 

The song "BFF" with Wrabel is really so touching and sweet. I love my friends so much and they are so core!! Without them my life would be NOTHING and I know people always put family and loved ones first but my friends are honestly on par.  Like the song lyric, "since we met I don't feel alone." My friends were the first people to make me feel okay being gay and being a sassy little *****.

 

 

Kesha really is that *****, stanning her and Kim is certainly a mess I know...

Kesha requests an adjournment of the jury trial from February to June 2023 given the delay at New York‘s highest court.

I guess her performance at the London show was so well-received that they added her to the LA show too 

 

Apparently, there will be no livestream available though (unlike the London show)

Love the conviction to the material, but I do wonder about the release date and if the label is still interfering. Especially with “order may change” comment.
