I don't know why everybody is hating on the song, it sounds good and a bop. With a Tiktok'd breakdown somewhere in the song it can go viral.

I think the song sounds good.. it's a grower and stuck in my head tbh

I just bought the single vinyl and where I live chart points are measured by the profit a song generates so this is the best way to support.

Its honestly so hard to defend katheryn when my main faves are   kesha and gaga too

i was expecting the worst reading everybody reacting to the leak but it isn't that bad. It sounds like a lead? not really but it's not the disaster some are saying it is. The production goes off and the chorus is catchy enough. I was expecting something VERY house-ish tho.

 

The real question is: why do they want to start an era with a statement song like that? it usually gets mixed reactions. That was a problem with CTTR too. Unless we are getting it wrong. Because the lyrics says something about she was send from heaven and that connects with those leaked artworks. She is like an alien or some kind of god.

 

in few words: she's playing an alterego and the whole concept is this kinds of woman/robot/god coming from another dimension/planet. This song is the introduction of her.

I'm very surprised by the negative reaction tbh. Maybe people would've rejected anything that wasn't the chorus I guess.

i sense some jelously and fear from certain base

They're trashing the song because certain stanbases were quick to make up lies about it, "an Ava Max reject" "confirmed to be produced by Dr Luke" "the lq version is 100% real and it sucks", etc and people starting believing these lies, at least in the stan world and twitter

SOME people would hate on her even if it was the best song they ever heard.

 

Does anyone else think this could be her best single since Prism? Might be recency bias, but this is MILES better than Diasies and Chained to the Rhythm. And those are fine songs. We know the lead single is never the best.
