it's depressing to think a performer as strong as her hasn't had a proper tour since she was in 200 capacity venues for Amala when ppl barely knew who she was / mooo! was just popping off 

 

It's so fundamental for her as an artist to at least give one tour as a mainstream act to maintain a fanbase and she already has 2 albums to tour off of, with a third on the way 

 

That weeknd tour opening act fiasco was the biggest misstep of her career so far, it just threw everything off 

no fr she had so much hype and praise from her festival performances too like she could’ve gone on a really successful ww tour but ig it probably would’ve been cancelled bc of her damn vape anyway so

On the bright side she stopped vaping and should be in good health when she eventually tours. 

Could this be hint at something? Dance pop album?

It’s always so annoying watching a female artist enter the “backlash” part of the social media misogyny hype cycle after having a huge era, since we’ve seen it countless times (Lana after NFR, Taylor after 1989, Billie after WWAFA, etc.) The mob always pounces once they see a couple cracks on the surface and blows them out of proportion. They claim it’s because they’re moral crusaders and the woman is ~problematic~ but it’s really just because they hate seeing a woman truly have a dominant space in music, especially one who dares to have a personality or an opinion. I wish Doja would actually take the rest of 2022 off of social media, she is rightfully frustrated but there’s nothing that tweeting will fix. She already bounced back from the Tinychat so she definitely can again once people move on to the next forced controversy, especially since most of the GP doesn’t know/care about any of them and stan her music.

Yeah I don't get it I thought rhythmic would love a song like Vegas i'm surprised to see it doing so much better on pop her songs usually rise on rhythmic first
