the way it was the spawn of a superstar, the confirmation that she is indeed a top player in the industry ahhh.. it felt like everyone was on her side back then 

 

she needs another one of these. another MOMENT. where she's actually out. promoting and pushing. need her to give us that energy one more time

I remember a Twitter video or something when her label was celebrating her platinum certification for Juicy, and officially launching the Say So promo with the MV and then... Boom... COVID crisis and lockdown everywhere all around the World.

 

Say So was the MOMENT during that weird MOMENT.

I feel like I don’t know what to expect from her next. I don’t think she’s going to take kindly to the stereotype the industry has been trying to emulate as a response to her success, so I don’t know what she’s looking to dive into artistically to subvert expectations.

i miss her a lot. I feel like she's really disrespected and underappreciated musically because she's basically an edgelord online.  But she writes her raps AND hooks, produces beats occasionally, and has the ear for hits. A lot of these girls nowadays can't even obtain one of these things. 

 

She'll always be the TOP girl for me. Very excited and optimistic for her return and new era. Don't **** it up Doja

Say So in a way is kinda haunting and eerie too, b/c it was such a strange time when it blew up.
