this is the biggest flaw of her whole career. not touring did hurt her a lot because she was not going to build a fanbase by just ranting on twitter and being out there yearly.

a pregnant (even mini just in big cities of US) tour in 2018/2019 would've eaten. and now she needs to announce a tour for 2024 at least.

I think it's still a go because touring in the spring and summer of 2024 is key.

 

Their rollout plan is going to be to release new songs leading up to the album. I believe she'll release at least one more song this year and probably another one in February or something.

Okay ladies here are some thoughts:

 

- I’m annoyed that they didn’t plan out more promotional performances for Bongos. The more I listen to the song, the more I recognize it’s potential to be a hit

- Cardi needs to invest in amazing performances leading up to the album because it’s going to sell her as a performer. This will be important for when she goes on tour

- I’m guessing we’re getting a new song in November, however I still think she needs to perform Bongos. BET and AMA’s perhaps?

- The social media hiatus is great, but she literally logged in not even a day later to acknowledge this Offset X Kenneth Petty nonsense 

- I don’t think this 2nd album will do IOP numbers and that’s fine. However, if she’s going to release in long stretches I want her to aim for 5 #1s on one album 

- Enough of the Megan group projects, I don’t want Cardi’s musical brand to be that she always collaborated with Megan 

- The promo run for Bongos seemed useless to me, why talk about an album that’s not dropping until.Q1 2024

- She seems extremely more mature than she was years ago, happy for her 

- I need two STRONG singles before the album. Fingers crossed that Bongos can take off, but I’d like a hip hop single and a pop single

I actually agree with MOST of this.

 

I think it's time for Cardi to put out a relationship type of rap song, enough with the sex songs & talking about partying and enemies, we need a change of pace, and we need a darker story line driven video.
