She recorded that song in 2019 and decided to get Durk & Ye on it & release it in 2022

 

Her verse is nice I really like it + Ye’s and Durks but yeah the fan base hates it

the song is pretty good as an album track. it just doesn't work as a comeback single. WAP, Up and probably Bongos are the right songs to lead the album, maybe if it was a coming up single right after Up it would do good (like Bartier Cardi/Ring did back in the day)

My thing about when someone liek

cardi takes a long time to release is that they record so much over the years that some old ass songs are kept and sometimes they’re already dated. It was very obvious hot flop was something she was sitting on for a while. Kinda like to think that was the label thinking it’d be a hit.
