Lol Let's not put too much expectations on her either. 

Of course, it's not for the streams as the album is already pretty much dead but she also performs to ciment herself with the greats and because that's something she enjoys doing. Maybe the album will not have a tour and this is her the performance to close the era since the Sphere fell through. 

 

Talking about the Sphere, I just realized that she teased it in her SB commercial. 

Not even the setlist leaked, is she rehearsing underground? 

 

Somehow since 4, she has tightened everything. If the idea that the videos were filmed a while ago is true, the fact that nothing has leaked so far is incredible impressive.

Sure but we shouldn't turn it into an expectation by guessing her motivations. 

 

There are many other reasonable and in line with B's behavior reasons out there too. 

 

She loves performing and for her it's important for her album's visions to be translated and communicated. This show could be just that. Her bringing her vision to life and making a statement that she wanted to from the start - with ever more potent timing with Trump's innaugration less than two weeks away (AR and Ya Ya). 

 

And again, it could just be the equivalent of the Renaissance tour, cuz CC hasn't got one (yet) or it could be something she wants to show to the world cuz the Sphere stuff didn't happen.

Imho its different because this is not a random day like the weekend of the Superbowl. This is quite a significant one (christmas) where she has made the decision to sacrifice celebrating and getting into christmas Spirit because of rehearsals, planning and execution.

 

She is a mother first (shes made that clear) and for her to decide to sacrifice all that means it's quite a significant reason. She can have any stage she wants on any day given, yet she chooses this particular event.
