I don’t really want to discuss the gross because she’s not a teen/pop favorite at the moment. Those are the fanbases that run to the theaters.

I’m hoping she does at least Coldplay’s numbers. Which I think was $10 million overall.

IDK, the gays might show up in their outfits looking for themselves on screen.  The tour was successful in a mainstream way, and had a big weird underground-type following too.

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

But it’s called Rebirth: Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, not Rebirth: Beyoncé’s Renaissance Journey or something like that. :katie: We’ll see with the trailer today.

the tour is also three hours long and this film is supposed to be 2 hours and a half so you're already not getting some of it in full if we are basing it off of that. also, at that point where would you stick in the bts footage?

The tour without interludes is roughly 2h.

And 2h30min is too precise to not be an estimation (the main concert for the film was filmed last week, it’s very likely not edited yet).

I'm pretty sure the ballad section and some of the (very long) Formation section are getting cut, she's gonna want to focus on Renaissance.

Beyoncé wanted everyone to view her as a legacy act then we should expect legacy act numbers for the film LOL. Which won’t be that much, I’m just grateful we finally have something. I’m still perplexed about why they chose to do this so soon after the blockbuster hype the other artist got. The media comparison is going to be inevitable and exhausting.

I feel like she recorded several shows, including ATL, LA, and several others

The more reason to believe it can’t be edited yet. And that reinforces the fact that Houston is the main show, since she used only outfits from ATL and LA for those two shows. :michael:

why would you cut interludes if you're doing the full show? that wouldn't make sense.

it might not be done, but they could have started editing from the footage that they have.

If there is a docu invovled, I'm sure it's already edited and ready to be inserted wherever

I think this is gonna be pretty much Homecoming 2.0. Full show without the interludes (2h 15min) and short BTS clips instead of interludes from the creation of the album (10-15min). Homecoming got excellent reviews, no need to change the formula.

She could be cutting some parts of the tour especially for songs like Run this world, Partition, etc.. that are already on another live docu on Netflix. She will probably leave performances that are completely new and fresh mixed with behind the scenes stuff. I doubt the album will get music videos sadly. The visuals mentioned will be tour interludes most likely. Knowing Beyoncé though, the film will end up being 3 hours and AMC will deal lol

The opening act will be in the trailer so i doubt it. There is an image of part of the trailer floating online. It's not leaked but it's about to lol.  I also think the tribute to Tina Turner is important for her to show, Tina was such a huge inspiration for her career. It wont be cut.

The more speculation, the messier it all sounds lol

Her last IG post was from Houston. Hopefully whenever she gets to NO posts today we will have a trailer.

Speaking of AMC, i hope she signed a good multi releases deal with them and Parkwood will produce more projects going to movie theaters. I like the idea of her creating mini events like that at the movies. It can grow and grow into something very iconic.

But the ballads were part of the show. DIL was absolutely a moment, I don't think she will take that part out.

I’m hoping that image is just a screen saver to throw us off. And the title as well.
