I really don’t want to sound like a negative nancy and this could be cause Sweetener tour was such an insane vocal perfection that i have high af standards but some high notes (like in baby I) sounded semi flat and those last whistles in the way were kinda wooden  i really hope she was just having a not great day and this does not mark the beginning of a slow vocal decline. 

 

everything we heard from Wicked was absolutely brilliant so this is so odd.

I don’t know why, but like… I’m not excited.  Watching her perform Baby I, one of my all-time faves of hers and feeling nothing because it feels forced and like she does not want to do this and wants to shill the products™️ instead.

 

It really feels like this was for the sweetener/TUN onward fans because I don’t feel any nostalgia. It feels like we’re wasting each other’s time.

i don’t know, watching the q&a videos she seemed excited about everything. and the baby i performance was the most charismatic so far imo but maybe that’s just me

I think she's in her vocal prime right now (if the Wicked leaks are anything to go by). But yeah I felt the same way when I heard the YT tracks live, but I think it's more to do with YT being vocally underwhelming for Ariana's standards. SWT/TU,N albums are more vocally demanding and have more 'vocal gymnastics' moments than YT which lends itself to more impressive live performances. 

 

Overall, YT:10 Anniversary is boring and I'm over it. She's going through the motions and her heart isn't in it. She couldn't hop in the booth and give us 2 re-recorded unreleased tracks at least?
