It’s getting cold in here and 30 is the perfect album for this mood. I’ve been listening to it several times a week. The way My Little Love, I Drink Wine, Love is A Game and To Be Loved sound perfect.

I understand why she decided to put it in but I really don’t need to be hearing conversations with her child in a song :chick1:

I listened to 30 and Renaissance on shuffle from my AM playlist the last two days and 30 was kind of punching Renaissance. It sounds like an album crafted for the Grammys. Maybe it's because we're going into the cooler months but I connected to the songs more. Don't get me wrong, there are lows (Uptempo songs and the overrated I Drink Wine) while Renaissance doesn't have any super lows but suffers from lack of variety that Plastic On the Sofa and Virgo Groove can't cut through. But when 30 punches, it punches: My Little Love, Strangers By Nature, Woman Like Me (This one starts off like wtf is this but by the 2nd chorus you're egging Adele on to talk her mess), WWW (I love the sound of this sonically, she should explore this more), EOM. Strangely, the album has more variety than I initially thought, moreso with the inclusion of the bonus Wild Wild West. Maybe she should have allowed Spotify to shuffle the album to break up the initial slow-pacing. I don't think most people got pass I Drink Wine before they drifted off to something else. You know most streamers have the mind of a fly. But that's just my opinion.

I've been listening to Adele's discography ever since the first leave of Fall season fell to the ground :jonny5:

I guess her albums are good to listen to during Fall/Winter season.

Truly. '30' just -screams- sweater weather. I can't believe we're coming up on it's one-year anniversary and we still don't have the #@%!ing 'IDW' M/V.

 

But with that being said, I'm pretty sure her team is working up something for 'Weekends with Adele'. Something in me really feels like they're about to come through.

AGREED. It is still my favorite to this day. I have a very personal connection with it.
