It's the sources that lie, not them. Deuxmoi doesn't write up anything by themselves. It's random people who email or DM them. There's no way to verify those things. This rumor came from a DM though so I wonder if it could be someone that they know from before. The met gala rumor was an email submission, so could have been some troll saying it. Well what we do know is true that IDW MV exists (and she might release it) and vegas is happening…

I have that feeling also she won’t attend 

It seems like she’s really over the red carpets etc… and it’s only made it worse with the whole vegas controversy.

And my problem with Vegas @Aslan is that yeah, it's gonna be exciting to see at first, but you just know she's gonna wear the same dress for all the shows, and sing the same songs over and over, lol. And I mean, I don't wanna sound ungrateful ofc, but if she really scrapped the IDW video too, that makes me upset.

The way A’s songs are always a go to, to showcase your singing ability but yeah she isn’t a vocalist apparently

At least when looking at the lead singles performance, it's questionable whether Adele has declined much at all. And you have to remember that When We Were Young also tanked at first but it has grown to become a classic song since. I Drink Wine could be a similar classic but they need to release it! The biggest failure of this era has been they they didn't release anything in the summer. Once you lose the hype it's very hard to get it back again. But I'm certain that Adele's next lead single, whenever it may come, will also smash.

The issue with this era was 1. The just complete lack of promotion outside of the first week few weeks 2. Wrong choice of second single 3. Not announcing/embarking on a stadium tour when she knew she could easily sell one out. 
4. Vegas  (we all know why that is)

During 25 era she was truly everywhere; You couldn’t escape her. She was doing promo well into 2016, touring and XL/Columbia were pushing singles on the radio till like late 2017 (coinciding with her stadium tour) whilst this era they pulled everything from radio and playlists (which is insanely important for a GP artist like A) 3 months into the era 

I’m telling you if it wasn’t for that cursed residency I do think things would be much different today but her label and her team can only learn from this going forward. 
 

Regardless of what the haters say; people will be tuning into A5 no matter how much they try and deny it

Just look at Hyde park weekend and how many hit viral tweets/tiktoks she was getting and how much people were praising her/wanting to go see her on tour.

now imagine that everyday for months whilst she embarks on a worldwide stadium tour in Asia, South America, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania 

but no she chooses to do a residency that only a handful of her actual US fans could attend 

worst decision her and her team ever made in her entire career tbh and I don’t mean that lightly

And Japan and South Korea deffo could give her healthy album sales still if she bothered to go there.

 

But yeah, the point to take home is that Adele is still the biggest singer in the world, I believe.

That Spotify first day and first week record for EOM could remain for some time still.

Taylor's album is gonna stream a lot ofc but most likely there won't be one song that peaks like that.

Then Mariah's Xmas run is kinda annoying because clearly people don't check for her but they just play that song as a tradition.

 

And this was Adele's first streaming era. She's gained millions of followers on Spotify since before 30 dropped. That's already so much better starting point for her next album, that so many more people will get notified via email or in app when she drops new music. 

But anyways let’s just hope she finally decides to release IDW and Sony push it…
