A5 will be a defining moment in her discography me thinks…

30 was all about self reflection, taking accountability, heartbreak and motherhood. 
A5 should be self titled and be all about her life now, love, partying, enjoying her life whilst seemingly allowing her vulnerability to peak through. 
All artists 5th albums have been iconic, 

loud, beyonce (self titled), 1989…

I know A has expressed her desire to act and a lot of daydreamers want it also but if we’re being realistic, do y’all think she could pull it off? I know she hasn’t had any starring role or cameos to really show off her acting skills, so I’m just unsure? I would hate for her to embarrass herself especially since she’s all about “the art” these days.

So I was just thinking of ways that would be authentic and not make her overexposed! Acting being one of them…

I can’t believe it took 7 years and honestly probably 400+ listens to realize the bridge of Hello actually has lyrics in addition to “ooh… anymore”. This whole time she has been singing “highs, highs, highs, lows, lows, lows” in the background when I thought she (or whoever does the BV) was just making random euphoric noises in the background for dramatic effect.

I actually prefer Adele's look and vibes in that SNL episode over everything we've seen so far during this album era. It also felt like we were gonna get a much happier album... But maybe that's a promise of what's coming with A5 then.

But I also like the vibes in the The Face photoshoot. I just wanna hear music that matches with these vibes.

That 100m contract pales in comparison to the amount of money she’s already made them. 

 

30 alone has already grossed nearly 100m if you take everything into account.

30 is probably in some tens of millions in gross. I wonder if they make more profit from vinyls than CDs actually. And I guess XL still owns her masters from the previous albums?? So Sony doesn't get much from those. But yeah, either way, with Vegas done she'll most likely have made Sony that 100m back already. It just feels like we are back in the drought again, because that Vegas run feels so exclusive and idk what she's waiting for with the IDW video drop. If she's waiting to drop it until she's done with Vegas then she can keep it, lol.

I agree with everything you’re saying but the music landscape has changed so much and I don’t think she could survive another 5 year hiatus…

Like of course she will forever remain a legend and people will listen to what she puts out regardless. But we’re in the era of quick hits and that is only being made worse with tiktok something she is vehemently against 

like look at Sam smith and how they have the #1 song on Spotify because of tiktok when their lead tanked into oblivion because they actually understood they needed to play into tiktok to survive fading into irrelevancy…

look at Taylor also! A few albums back she used to be clowned on this site because she was being out streamed by the likes of Ariana and Dua. Then she truly understood the music climate were in and started releasing consistently and with the addition of her re recordings and genre change is now the most streamed female artist in the world currently. 

I know it’s not all about the success but A needs to stop being so lazy or else she will well and truly fade into obscurity! Like I’ve said before, A5 will be that defining album on whether she floats or sinks…
