It’s just hit me…

this writers strike means the vegas residency concert film might get delayed 

I don't know what she put in 30 but it hasn't aged a single day. There's no need to release an album a year when you have released 4 masterpieces back to back. 

 

 

 

This being said she should be more confident in her writing and direction so her procrastination doesn't swallow her each and every album cycle. I feel like if she wanted to release an album this fall it would be very welcomed.

I do tend to listen to A less in the spring/summer months. 
she really is an autumnal and winter type of artist. And with summer coming to a close I’m listening to 30 a lot more and appreciating it more and more as it ages. 
 

but that being said a new album every 2/3 years should be the standard. A 5/6 year break just ain’t gonna suffice in this music climate.

Adele said in one of the interviews two years ago that she wants to try and pick up the guitar a bit more to see if she could write something that way. Before she's just been waiting for inspiration to hit her, not really actively exercising songwriting. So maybe there's hope for something to come sooner than before. And also just the fact that 30 was less successful commercially might make the label Sony want another album from her faster.

The fact that we're coming up 2 years since 30 dropped. And 3 years since she did SNL by which time the album had been finished. And she said at Graham that it takes her "3 years and a bit" to start writing another album. So if she hasn't started already, let's hope very soon.

Honestly I hadn’t listened to her since like April 

 

but I saw a leaf on the ground and it inspired me to listen to her again

We don't know. But we hope so, lol. But realistically, if she was to release something, it would be in October and November. The Vegas residency is scheduled to last until November 4.
