Well another rumour is that she’s releasing the Chris Stapleton remix of EOM (jump scare) on streaming. 
so if that’s true then I’m sure that’s just confirmation the deluxe is being added to streaming 

idk if there’s any truth to them tho because we’ve been down this road before and nothing comes of it.

Just rumors as always, not sure why they would release the EOM ft now, unless they plan to release all deluxe tracks which would be nice

Anyways, kinda hoping this next batch of shows she does that she plans to do something different. I was thinking the June shows may have not been different because they wanted to record it

I dunno maybe to capitalise on the country genre resurgence.

I could defiantly see wild Wild West doing well if it was promoted on country radio.

Doesn't seem like Adele to do that, I can see it happening only if she releases all the deluxe tracks on 30 or for all albums tho

and that Chris collab should have been released during EOM it would have extended the weeks of #1 to 12 weeks at least, so what's the point of releasing that 2 years after

I wouldn't say there's a country resurgence tbh. Morgan is kind of an anomaly and Luke Combs' song is just a cover of an already well loved classic. Aldean's song is only a "hit" because some people decided to amplify it and give it attention. Prior to this week, it was completely flopping. 

 

If anything, it's a sign of how bad things are right now. Both pop and rap aren't making any kind of noise and it just feels like the public has checked out. Everything seems to revolve around rallying your fanbase and that's why I don't think Adele and her team are employing a good strategy of starving fans of new material and performing exclusively in Vegas, where only a small percentage of fans can actually go see her. Taylor's dominance right now isn't because of the GP, it's because she's giving her fans what they want.

 

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out with the next record. The GP doesn't follow music like they used to and fans tend to move on when artists wait too long. What worked 8 years ago, won't work now.

What I’m struggling to understand is why she’s just stopped uploading photos from the residency on IG? 

is raven not working for her anymore? Where’s AdeleAccess? Where’s her team? It’s all very weird atm.

In spite of everything, I think it's encouraging that Adele has 51M monthly listeners on Spotify now. And she also passed 50M followers recently.

 

You could say Tiktok has saved her ass, big time. "Adele.romania" and all those other fan pages deserve big credit for promoting her with their edits. They are doing the job that "Adele Access" is supposed to do.

 

And @Aslan, I hope that FB banner thing means nothing. I really think every residency extension just delays her writing/releasing the next album.

Imma need Sony to put all its marketing budget for A5 into Tiktok because it’s literally the only way to get a stable hit these days.

 

I feel like the gp are lazy and judging from recent releases from big artists they’re just not interested unless it’s trending on tiktok.

You bet the labels are scrambling to take control of the tiktok algorithm. So in that sense I think it's better that Adele is with Sony now. I don't think XL would have had enough power or money to fight for control with the big labels.

There are no shows atm until 8/4 she’s currently on a month-long break of the Vegas shows so naturally there’s no IG pics since weekend 20 (6/30-7/1).
