And now having thought about it more, I think it's smart that Adele takes a long time between the albums, because it forces people to listen to the albums more and appreciate them for what they are. Tho obvi 5 or 6 years is too long. Or at least it's frustrating to wait that long.

 

Also, the amount of monthly listeners is fantastic. If we were worried about her Spotify streams at some point, no need to be anymore.

The songs keep blowing up on Tiktok! It comes in waves. SFTTR slowed down a bit in summer but now it's coming back up. And people seem to listen to Adele more in autumn anyway, but now Tiktok is helping too. And yeah, SFTTR has been going viral ever since January. But Love in the Dark is lowkey more impressive because it came out of nowhere and blew up in 2021 and it's never slowed down since.
