GOOBA has been in the Top 5 on iTunes, Spotify & AM the whole week and they still didn’t let it chart :skull: they did the same with Dummy Boy in 2018 and I have no idea why.

International singles that become hits in Germany usually do so organically and without being mediocre songs with an excessive push, so I'm not surprised the Germans weren't very charitable to Suck with U. The increased playlisting for Halsey is helping her all around the European charts this week! The Black Eyed Peas selling out to Latin music are a kii, but it seems to be working for them.

Aren’t German charts still royalty-based, though? So viral meme hits and popular Spotify playlist songs don’t chart that high unless they’re also shifting digital copies and cd singles, as well as getting played by radio :michael:

I remember reading that a while ago, but I’m not sure

It’s not that they don’t “let” him chart, according to their rules and metrics it isn’t in their Top 100 or whatever it is, just like Billboard has its own shady rules and metrics too.

Glad the pedophile did not chart!:heart2:

It's just royalty for sales I think, apart from Billboard nobody else counts radio in their national charts.

Radio is not a chart metric for our Top 100. And he was shifting enough digital copies, hence him being Top 5 on iTunes the whole week. Other top streaming songs in Germany usually don’t even manage to shift as much digital copies as he did over the week which is why I think they either don’t let him chart OR 6ix9ine’s team is making use of shady tactics in which way they’d entirely eliminate him from the chart for a few weeks. Albeit a rare occurrence I think the latter is more probable but you never know.

Oh I see, thanks for clearing that up :heart2:

Shirin getting another Top 10 :clap3:

It's weird why 69 isn't on there, he did extremly well on Spotify here, so yeah maybe the shady tactics from his team are the reason, it's the most plausible one at least

I don’t know their rules! Just sayin if he didn’t chart it’s cause the song didn’t do enough points according to their ‘way’ of tracking.

Oh no, it definitely got enough points, there's just something behind... maybe they ban convicted criminals?

Oh is that a thing? I didn’t know charts were allowed to ban certain artists (criminals)... Glad is they’ve banned him tho, hopefully R Kelly is super dupa banned too.

nn it's more likely that they banned him bc they found something fraudulent... anyway Germans are very rhadamanthine on the integrity of whatever they do so I'm not surprised

Shirin gifting Haftbefehl his highest charting song and only top 15 after like 15 years of his career with a 1 minute part
