what absolute lies this is. Nobody breaks streaming records while only being popular among a single demographic. Basically everyone in the US has listened to God's plan bc it's good

Its a mystery to me how RIAA gives all the gold and platinum away for nothing.

 

I mean Mariah had We Belong Together 14 weeks #1, such a slay songs, and its 2xPlatinum.

And his song is now 7xPlatinum because of the streams?

They really should calculate the streams differently.

RIAA should really re-consider their steaming formula. With they way steaming keeps exploding, we’ll be getting diaomind singles left and right in a few years.
