Years ago, I asked for a rate of the best-selling soundtracks of all time: The Bodyguard, Saturday Night Fever, Purple Rain, Dirty Dancing, etc.

 

Sadly, it never happened.

It looks like the good sis @genetic fail is on hiatus. Someone should takeover the 2017 Pop Girl Albums rate. I think @supaspaz should do it, given ha track record (remember the epic 2013 Fall Pop Madness rate?) Melodrama could be in here too but 7 albums is too much plus it is not like the rest given its universal acclaim.

I think you might have to put my George v. Michael v. Prince rate on hiatus. There's too many ties and barely enough ballots to help break them.

I was just wondering if ATRL did one of those.  I'm gonna look up the other ones on ATRL Classic, sounds like fun.  

@supaspaz is the main host of them - his 2013 version was our most popular rate ever (Kinda sorta the best one.)

 

He wants nothing to do with 2017's narrative, however.

 

Also, the albums for 2017's roundup will be Part 1: Reputation/Witness/Rainbow/Divide

Part 2: Tell ME You Love Me/Younger Now/... pick two other albums because no one really cares! Perhaps Sign of the Times and something else but a younger artist?

Can you imagine me suffering through an Ed Sheeran album? And Witness again? I'll take one shot for the team (hi, Prism!), but not two.
