Wasn't this done on old ATRL minus Speak Now? What's My Name won. But I definitely would be interested for this one too. I think the good sis might allow you since they did a rerate of the 2008 albums.

... but, we did do an ULTIMATE 2008 rate featuring the 08 albums that had been rated before. Long story short, you make it an event - have everyone vote for the top five OR ten songs from each album (depending on length and popularity) and then have a rate of the ultimate 100.

 

Suggestions?

 

Maybe make it six/eight tracks, since Loud and Teenage Dream are such short albums without a lot of b-sides/unreleased material.

Ideally, you want to get to 40/30 tracks (40 from the eight-track players, 30 from the six-track players.)

 

It's up to you if want to include then albums that played in THIS WAS 2010 as well - it would bring you to a sweet 100 songs playing. 

@Ace Reject, we've been in talks for the Twinks Rate for over a year now. None of the albums has been used yet. The idea was Purpose + The Secret + Blue Neighbourhood + Handwritten/Illuminate. I'd leave Zayn's album out so that it can be saved for the former 1D members rate. Also, which Shawn Mendes album should be used? Should we leave Austin out and use both Handwritten and Illuminate? I know it's not your style, but it needs to happen!

@umich You ever thought about doing a "Close But No Cigar" rate for the 80s. I was mad as hell I missed the 90s and 00s. I wanna redeem for the 80s.

I think I might have time to do it in October or November. 

 

@Ace Reject it would be a collection of all of the #2 hits from the 80s. Last time I checked, there were over 80 of them  I'll have to double check. I'll post a list in a couple of days.

I've had an idea for a rate, it's going to be called "The Strangest Albums of 2017" and we're going to rate the most unusual releases of the year. I was thinking of Black Origami, Arca, Peasant, and Ison? I think 4 albums is gonna be enough, those 4 have 52 songs together. I'd like to start that after the end of the year. Thoughts?

Idk I feel like I'd still like to give it a chance if it gets approved. I'll keep it at 4 albums to keep it accessible and do promo  The only album I wasn't really sure about is Ison since it definitely is too long. We could replace ha with something else.
