For overall, it kinda does make sense, basically using audience rather than spins "weights" each panel according to their estimated listener impact. Within a panel, that's not really an issue. I agree with you here. I guess Interscope still sees them as one of their most profitable/successful acts (which is true), so they'll continue to support them no matter what.
