My pleasure. Yeah, back in the day, the formats airplay charts more closely aligned with what the radio actually played. And the top songs only received about half the spins they do today. This allowed for a really diverse Top 40 airplay chart, compared to today when almost all of it conforms to a cookie cutter crap prototype. ?

It got a sizeable jump on Spotify with just a few hours of ACM promo. I expect to see a big climb on Spotify later today, as its audio only YT clip is up 100 positions.

 

EDIT: I'm not going to hold my breath regarding Top 40 airplay for Body Like A Back Road. Take Your Time didn't even get to the Top 25 at Top 40, and stalled at around 15 on HAC. Also, the extremely Pop/Rhythmic friendly House Party and Break Up In A Small Town (which especially seemed like a no-brainer) failed to even chart on HAC.

 

Break Up had strong streaming and sales, and at least two significant performances in late 2015. And it still didn't get any mainstream airplay.

Hunt's audience total is already way above what some of the songs on the spin based Top 50. That means he's some larger market airplay. I remember the Cruise remix reaching the Top Ten in spins, but its impressions levels remained lower than several songs outside of the Top Ten.
