Stacie Orrico's Stuck also peaked at number 52 in 2003 on the Hot 100 whilst being a top ten hit at pop radio.

Damn, I still love that song, lol. However, it should be noted that during this period, R&B/Hip Hop was the biggest radio format at the time. The #1 song on R&B/Hip Hop usually had 60M, 70M AI, and sometimes even 80M AI. In Da Club, the #1 song of the year, had 88M AI on R&B/Hip Hop at its peak.

What's going on with Boy's A Leaa? It better not be pulling an Escapism. :emofish: I need it to get #1.

Is there a track of the songs that took the longest to reach top 10 on Pop? Would be curious to see if Nonsense performance was really slow or not at all

Actually it will be her sixth number one on Mediabase. Come & Get It was her first number one there (whilst peaking at number 2 on Billboard).

The way she has 6 #1 on Pop on Mediabase but only 4 (when/if Calm Down makes it). So unfair how that BB chart operates imo

Pop needs to gut Flowers, and let Calm Down and Creepin have their turns at #1 the next few weeks and get them out of the way so we can be done with this BS sooner rather than later. Then, maybe Boy's a Liar's updates could return to normal and make a run at #1 on Pop.

Lowkey I come in here to check if those songs are staying just because it literally causes you to say the same **** every time.

Not really, I just alter the thing to keep up with the current chart. But people need to stop asking why their song isn't rising. You all should already know what the answer is based on the fact that the same 3-5 songs at the top of the charts (Flowers, Calm Down, Creepin, Kill Bill, and Die For You) have been hogging all the spins for months on end. If Pop just let these songs go, we can get a better variety and more new songs played on the radio.

Yeah, but it's not falling below 10 this week (or anytime soon), lol. Die For You is heading into week 37 and Calm Down week 28. It doesn't matter if you like these songs, it's beyond time for Pop to let them go. We don't need songs to stay on the charts forever like Stay, Big Energy, As It Was, and I Like You.

It's only in its 17th week on the Mediabase chart. While that is a long time (the average pop hit peaks around its 12th week), almost a dozen songs have taken 6 months or longer to reach the top ten, and dozens of others have taken 20+ weeks to get there.

Agree with Die For You and disagree with Calm Down. Their conditions were not the same, with the latter being a proper sleeper hit that is just peaking now compared to DFY which peaked 3 months ago (so 14 weeks ago) yet is still top ten.
