I wonder how some of the recurrents are doing, like Blinding Lights and Deja Vu and earlier hits.  If they are rising again too that would mean year-end countdowns are starting.

That's clearly what's going on. Adele going from 200-300 updates to magically tiny updates the second she is about to surpass Bieber is so blatantly obvious. The same as a song immediately getting -300 updates the second it officially becomes a #1 pop radio hit.

I wish callouts were available for last week. Even though I love "Stay" it has been getting positive updates for almost a week now.

Scooter & Kid parted ways weeks ago.

STAY has incredible callouts scores and still has massive streams after all this time. #2 Global Spotify/#7 US Spotify after 5 months of non stop stomping. It’ll be one of the biggest hits from the streaming era when it’s run is over.

Bieber is also a lead artist on the song

How can Billie get this same payola? I'm not asking for a whole era, just for HTE.

Is this going to happen or not? I hate the vocals at the start, but once the beat kicks in this song is fire

Come thru EOM. Keep going.

Anyone with a braincell know the reason stay is smashing o nrado is because less people turn it off when it comes on than any other song in the world this year therefore it makes radio stations more profit. It went +2.3 on call outs and back to #1 in it's 12th week. If that doesn't explain it to you then I don't know what to tell you. You cannot payola a song 6 months after it's come out and once it already hit #1 12 weeks ago lmao.

One pop station in my area added both Avril's Bite me and Billie's HTE.

We know it has been positively received by all ages.

it’s just hilarious that When we thought Adele would take over, she started getting smaller updates and Stay stopped declining and started increasing in spins again

we just being tongue and cheek

If you have any braincell you can't believe this. All it takes is money and connections.

I wonder if Message in a Bottle misses the Top 10 the Swifties will make the excuse that it's either a) not a single or b) from a 9 year old album and doesn't really count.  Which will it be?

Most weeks at number one (Billboard Mainstream Top 40 Airplay)

14     Ace of Base     "The Sign"     1994
13     The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber     "Stay"     2021

Will 14 weeks be enough for Scooter Columbia?

The fact a group swedes still has that record, a cute somg too altho i prefer all that she wants (which iirc was the bigger global hit)
