Yeah, but you can’t expect a song to shoot up based on a performance on The Today Show or Seth Myers. 

 

This Lullaby (and PBP for that matter) are the exceptions to the rules. Both were packaged around heartfelt sentiment. People love that ****. It’s why shows like Idol and the Voice have lasted so long, why This Is Us is a smash hit, or why people REALLY love the new Queer Eye. Haha.

it's a charity single and 70% of the $$$ it makes goes to charity so my guess would be that it was bought even by people who wouldn't buy it otherwise. Hard to say if it is true though. :michael: I'm impressed by its longevity tbh.
