Zayn needs a feature act to survive... he won't last long, Sam's TGAG is gonna serve longevity at the end of the day, Radio and Streaming are on Sam's side..

What are the top selling songs so far this year? I'm guessing:

 

1) Despacito (combined)

2) Shape Of You

3/4) Body Like A Back Road/I Like The Way (very close)

But I don't know beyond that.

 

Taylor should get to #2 pretty soon, but Despacito is still selling well. The original version still has a discount, though the label did remove it for the remix. Taylor could overtake Despacito by the EOY, but remember how long it took JT to reach 3 M, and that Look will lose sales to CMA. I really hate how the RIAA and SS subtract such sales, but I don't see a reversal in the near future.

 

JT didn't lose much if any sales to the Trolls soundtrack. Despacito also doesn't have a parent album. Closer is only 140k away from 3 M. Despacito is further behind but still selling well.

So why are pop bars taking so long to update? Nothing major happened as far as i'm concerned so there's no reason for this delay to be happening lol!

I think despacito and SOY both are at the same now (barely below 2.4 million) which means despacito will pass SOY in a week. But i dunno if that's the Bieber version or combined tho.

LWYMMD has to have great longevity to pass that, so we'll see.
