Niall Horan dark red

Despacito combined is selling 90% of I'm The One. With Niall already dark red I wonder what Bieber feature will top the digital songs next week. (Assuming there's no big releases this week)

Im amazed anybody takes Niall seriously as a solo artist. He was like the bag carrier of One direction. Another of the many current white pop boys who have the star quality of a grocery packer at Walmart. At least Harry has swag.

I disagree with this. Every member of the group had a sizeable amount of fans. That combined with the fact that he isn't problematic and makes very middle-of-the-road music puts him in a great position. White guys with guitars don't need to have star quality but that's not his fault. 

 

Zayn lacks work ethic/a competitive nature when it comes to pop music, Harry is chasing an older/less radio friendly sound, Liam is going to give his best attempt at urban music, and Louis is just there. Niall is kind of in the perfect spot right now.

I think he's opening for an artist I don't care much about. 

And his American label is Columbia, the same label that broke Hozier in America. Makes you wonder why didn't they use the same strategy. But Columbia has been ignoring their artists lately unless your name is Harry Styles  

Finally, I think they are moving on to a second single and will release Skin.

"The Cure" already discounted. It wasn't necessary I think, it was climbing slowly and was around #30 before discount.

"I Feel It Coming" lost its discount on the other hand.

Yea, I'm guessing this only applies if it's done in the same charting week. If I buy the single now and decide 2 weeks down the road I want the whole album, the single would already be counted in H100. But if I change mind during that week it'll be shown as an album and not a single sale?

 

 

Which kind of answers my next question I guess. Purchasing the album means the content only gets counted on BB200 right? So 100 people buying an album does not mean 100 downloads of each song will be put towards H100? Unlike BB200 where a single sale could count towards album sales. 

If you purchase a song and hit CMA the same tracking week then Apple only reports an album sale from that. The single sale doesn't even exist anymore.

 

Abd yeah album sales only count for the BB200. But if you streams a full album on Apple Music that counts for BB200 and as 1 stream for every track for the H100

Who cares? There's no album coming, it's a stand alone single. There won't be a video either I bet.
