Now GIRL! When I say I'M MAD that I missed this. This could've been a break out moment for me.

 

We should make up and do a Nicki Minaj edition next season. 

 

 

Hey everyone! I have an idea for a game that I could bring to ATRL. In the past I’ve hosted music games where a user would play as a musician and submit song that could fit a certain themes (Love, Breakup, Upbeat, etc) and rank them from my own personal taste, until there’s a winner. I would accompany them with YouTube videos, so that my critiques would be shown. I have done this for 15 seasons in the past. I could link my YouTube channel to show you guys what it is.

 

It’s something I enjoy doing because it introduces me to new music, plus I could do rewards for winner.

I wanna do and have an idea for a game all about playlisting.

 

Players will submit a playlist depending on the category that round, like a playlist with great transition, telling a story using songs from different decades/genres, etc.

 

That's the idea. Number of songs per playlist for each section increases as players get eliminated. 

 

I want to call it "The Playlist" or sumn.

I made up a game. If anyone wants to host go ahead, otherwise I will hoest it this summer 

ATRL The Masked Singer

Contestants will join by sending a PM to the hoest. In the PM they will include information on who their fictional character will be. It could be a celeb, fursona, animated movie character, your own original character, whatever you want. It has to be something that won’t instantly reveal who they are. Would appreciate if you send in a picture to represent your character as well.

Every round users will have the choice of sending in a PM questions for specific contestants. Those contestants can then reply in a PM to the hoest. This is a cute thing that the show does as a showcase of roleplay.

Every round there will be a challenge with a theme. For example, rock music, movie soundtrack, 90’s song, live performance, video game soundtrack, Disney, etc.

Contestants can send whatever they want.

After entries are posted, contestants will rank all entries from favorite to least, including their own. This is done to disguise who they are.

Hoest will tally the results and whoever flopped the hardest is sent home. Hoest will then reveal who it was who was sent home.

How do we handle alliances? We do so by randomly splitting contestants into two groups each round and allow them to rank only a specified half of the entries. This will reduce the chances of alliances forming due to the unpredictability.

This type of game will require creativity, and an actively engaging hoest.

Also, because of the anonymity and community voting, hoest can also participate!

But due to the nature of this game, it will require at least 10 contestants otherwise it will end too fast.

I also think certain artists should only be allowed to feature at most in 3 rounds unless a round specifically requires that artist to be available (for example, a round for former group members who have gone solo)

This game is an opportunity to give yourself a temporary cultural reset, show a side of you we would otherwise not know of. 

 

Once we reveal our winner, we will also do an awards ceremony! Categories can include:

Best identity, best song entry, most creative identity, funniest identity, worst identity, favorite round theme, worst round theme, requested round theme for next season

In other words, ATRL Drag Race but you only send in songs, and have to keep your ATRL username a secret behind your fake identity. 

The more creative people get, the more fun it will be.

There was a similar game to this. It was called You're the DJ. You had to create a playlist for different occasions like birthday to wedding. It was never finished, so I'd love to see something like this!

Golden Hit is also returning in the summer 

I revamped my game rules. I really like what I made and I hope there will be demand for several seasons 

 

I will start the sign ups sometime between May 20 to June 1. 

 

I revamped the rules to make it more easy to understand and unique 

Will officially start it sometime between May 17 - 20.

ATRL Radio has officially launched! Hopefully we don't flop too badly
