  1. last time i was here was just before womans world so i'm not gonna get hyped until i hear it... but i'm seated
  2. Crush and Artificial are the absolute highlights of this album. The first two literally what i always wanted from katy, a fun silly danceable hit and FINALLY some experimenting. SHe might go the acoustic way for the next album but i really loved what she did with artificial, its an interesting sound and lyric wise it reminds me of an edgier Mannequin from OOTB. And wonder it's like the most katy perry song ever, perfect to close the album, and not produced by you know who so it's refreshing 8/10
  3. The video is what i always wanted from katy but she managed to never give. Different style she had not tried, just *****, the TRANSITIONS... I'm just gonna act as if this was the lead. Im seated for the album.
  4. Thats just not true, it was in fact long overdue. You don't have to like her to give her her flowers
  5. And stop terrorising lorde lana and florence welch
  6. I know you all like Lifetimes but i feel like it's not the correct choice after woman's world ☠️ like at all. Nirvana and Gimme Gimme sound a lot better and fit more into the mainstream rn. An upbeat uplifting happy song didnt work already, she needs to go daaark
  7. Im sorry but dump him. It would be a red flag for me even if you were on an open relationship if he was on the apps while "spending" time with you. And if you've reached a point where you're monitoring his apps and stuff,,, listen its not worth it. 10 months are nothing
  8. Looks really cool tbh im intrigued
  9. Do you think dr luke is in every track of the album?
  10. She should wish trump an easy recovery
  11. Katy Perrys and Florence and the machine's MTV unplugged
  12. Oh yes this is unquestionably true. That's that me espresso
  13. Comeback single coming out really close in time to another one from other artist... War amongst the fanbases... Controversy bcause a problematic man is in the album... Maybe we were wrong about witness. Maybe this is Katy's Artpop
  14. Well... If that's the case... Time to pack up. Hope they reconsider. It might've worked if WW wasnt the first single but still... I didn't like it either
  15. I just hope she releases Nirvana as the second single, or Gimme Gimme. When u receive backlash like this i feel a darker sound would work better? I know a lot of you like Lifetimes but after all this i wouldn't say is a good choice and it would be the last nail in the coffin
  16. Its not that, it's the fact that the song is in the fence abt it. The lyrics are not clearly ironic. It lacks the punchline acknowledging it is indeed not a woman's world. And dr luke producing it just threw it to the "not ironic-how dare she" side
  17. That being said, people are hopping onto the hate bandwagon for interactions and that's clear. Call it what you want but its still trendy to hate on katy perry
  18. Listen. All we can hope is Dr Luke is not involved in the next singles (I don't know if thats possible). And even if that was the case the mistake has been done. She had momentum, she had people waiting for her comeback and chose the worst song possible to do so. If you want to do a mindless bop do a mindless bop about dancing or coffee. If you want to do a political song, do it well and make it coherent with your choices. All that falls in between is just not going to work And then you have songs that do not intend to be political but can open really interesting conversations about feminism like Joyride and Girl so confusing w Lorde. Joyride is just kesha having fun and reclaiming her sexuality, which in itself, its political The latter is the feminist anthem of the year bcause while not being pretentious, it manages to capture a feeling of sorority and feminine experience that woman's world wished it had. You just can't force it. To quote Katy perry herself, that's how you do it. Hope she takes it into account. Everything went to **** when she decided to have him in the record and although i still feel i can enjoy the era even if it doesn't do it good, I can't help but to be disappointed.
  19. Someone take her phone away before she auto sabotages again
  20. shame he wasn't a little more to the left
  21. There's literally a bunch of other stuff to criticise about the video but this is not it. If she wants to show skin shes in her right to do so. Blame it on the teenage boy having wet dreams and not on her celebrating her body
  22. I mean it was already a joke once we knew the producer. That aside if the message was clear and the satire had that twist it wouldn't necessarily be a joke
  23. It could be a cute criticism to Pink Tax but lacks the punchline to make it readable as that
  24. Or a song without the word woman in the lyrics
