I'm predicting something between 56-65M. Stream volume decreased since the algorythm change but Htimylm is a hit in contrary of Yes and. With that said Htimylm debuted with 8.2M streams and Petal has one less song but she has a tour boost, so a similar debut to ES is really likely. Viewing the reception i don't think it will have ES longevity as a whole sadly.

Positions is rnb masterpiece but ES is bigger on basically every metrics. ES already has almost the same equivalent album sales than Positions in just 2 years and a half and it generates 2.5x more units than Positions every single day, the gap between both album will be significant in 2 years. WCBF is way bigger world wide than any singles from Positions. ES album tracks are bigger. Positions success was really USA driven, ES is global.

And i don't believe she will drop the whole album all at once. You don't announce an album 3 months in advance in that case. The standard has been announcing the album 2 months before the release date and drop a lead single to keep people fed untill the album. So imagine thinking they would announce the album not only 2 but 3 months in advance without something to keep people tuned. That can not happen.

People voting for Positions or ES have lost their mind or need to open a dictionnary to learn what the word cohesive means. As it has been said, Positions can be a lot of things for you all but it's factually incredibly cohesive. Yes and? being out of place doesn't make ES not cohesive, it's just a single song. My everything is the only right answer. Sweetener is kind of defined by its duality, the max martin pop tracks and the pharrell produced ones, which sounds pretty different from each other, it's so audible which is produced by who.

It would be a dream, a more mature and polished version of Yours Truly is exactly what we rnb lovers want from her. Take the best from Yours Truly and Positions, makes it better and here we go, the magnum opus is right here.

There is definitely a lead single before the album release, there is no way the label doesn't push for it. Even Yes and reached the number one spot. She is too strong on this department for them not to try. Besides It's almost impossible to get two number one at the hot 100 per era otherwise (unless you're Taylor) and this is a clear ambition from her label/team: accumulate as many number one single as they can while she is in her prime. Sure Yes and faillure has affected ES debut numbers, but on the long run it barely did anything. ES still did better than Yours Truly, Sweetener and Positions despite having Yes and as lead single. If the album is liked, it will do well.

I get your point of vue and it's fair criticism, I agree about the bridge part but i disagree about Don't wanna break up again and True story. They're good but weaker. The good R&B tracks from Positions are superior and the numbers show it. Safety net is already outstreaming both of them daily and same is almost happening with Nasty. Pov is a career highlight song. The stronger songs co-produced by Max from ES aren't the R&B ones but the synth-pop ones tbh except for Eternal sunshine itself. Intro is the best and Max isn't on it. Intro and ES are excellent mostly thanks to Ariana and Yasuda i bet.

Not me honey, Positions was my fave on first listen. I was a Positions defender since minute one, always was always will. For the context, Tun never really was my cup of tea except for Imagine, Needy and Ghostin that i love, so i had no expectations for Positions and it blew my expectations. Safety net, Love language, Nasty, Pov and Main thing are still on my daily rotation to this day. Outgrown, Sweet dreams and In the moment are my fave unreleased from her, all with Tommy as producers. I adore Eternally and Rainbow from Max though and wish she had explored these sound.

I feel like i'm the only one that hates Fantasize and that can not stand at all Baby one more time and doesn't want anything inspire by 2000s pop and R&B. I definitely want R&B but absolutely not 2000s R&B, which is the worst kind of them all imo. 90s and 80s are right here if she needs inspiration. I also think she did magnificent songs with Tommy brown, it's a shame that they don't work together anymore. While Positions is probably my fave album, ES is objectively her best one. With that said i think she did all she had to do with Max Martin and Ilya and now she should work with new collaborators, new co-producers. So it's a bummer to hear it's another album with Ilya and Max again.

And we were all so thankful for that. ES ends Tun with ease. ES and Positions are her best. She keeps improving her craft, i can't wait.

Even Kristin chenoweth wasn't doing the high end note live 99% of the time, it's incredibly high. Anyway, absolutely superb concert from both. Cynthia and Ariana had me on the floor. Everything was perfect.
