The country is economically stagnant and has lost the top financial position it held during decades thanks to EUROPE by exiting the richest market in the world. Now ireland has largely replaced it. its really been downhill since 2016, no matter whether the tories or labourists are in charge. Highest tariffs and energy costs ever, inflation, loss of market access that hasnt been replaced yet with any bs bilateral treaties… at this point they should just beg the EU to rejoin because i dont see how the UK is going to go forward after brexit.
