She's right but this is something you say after the show is done and over with. I mean I enjoyed it for what it is but it was just elevated Riverdale/Sabrina done right. Jenna was clearly the best thing about the show.

My theory is that a bunch of the songs on the album were about Niall like "Used to This." They broke up and she threw herself into acting (Bumblebee promo, also she randomly took up Dickinson on Apple TV+) and refused to released the album. Her friendship with Julia Michaels soured around this time (idk if this was Niall related or not or just a result in scrapping her album she had helped write). Her label doesn't need to spend a dime on Hailee, they basically have her acting side of her career carry her music at this point. She deserves better cause she's great.

Hailee Steinfeld outstreaming so many without an album and half assing her music career

I love love this new track. Listening to it constantly since I first heard of it a few days ago.

The MV is fun and I'm glad Hailee got what she wanted. That Core and Facebook money certainly paid for the video. I doubt RR even wanted to do it. Republic Records is being so short sighted. Hailee is not going to fade away into irrelevancy anytime soon. She has like a decade of Marvel ahead of her and she's super commercializ-able. Why they aren't pushing her is beyond me. Can they drop her so she can get the promo she deserves???

Apple TV and Disney Plus both heavily pursued and used Hailee to launch their streaming platforms. Hawkeye show had a $150 million budget. It would've been a movie if they didn't need it to help Disney+. I would eat my hat if she doesn't front a theatrical marvel film at some point and is in one of the Avenger movies. That was the whole point of Feige chasing her for like a year to get her to sign on to the project. She would've have that second Spiderverse movie out this year but that got pushed back. Seriously anyone concerned about her acting career needs a reality check. She hasn't done a bad project since... Pitch perfect 3? But she balanced that with Edge of Seventeen. Her music career is a different discussion but her music is good... its just the lack of serious promotion. Maybe she'll do VMAs?

This deserved a MV and radio play. Too bad RR can't just drop her and she can find someone willing to promote her. I don't think we need to be worried about her acting career tho. Disney/Marvel, Apple, and Netflix have just been throwing money at her when all this girl wants to do is drop some music.
