  1. CNN statement: He thought he was on Twitter
  2. it's a theatre show. taylor and beyonce have skewered people's views of concerts. girlies can give great theatre shows with just a mic, a band and some dancers.
  3. I don't know how people are even arguing with this, it's simple logic. Even in 1500, before the transatlantic slave trade, all places below Northern Africa had farrr less developed infrastructure and agricultural systems. I mean Africa's population was 46mil while Europe, despite being vastly smaller was nearing 70mil. Ofc since industrialization, topography has come to play a much smaller role and colonialism (and to a smaller extent the slave trade) are why African nations haven't been able to catch up, but OPs question was about Africa's 'headstart' compared to Asia and Europe. The answer obviously has nothing to do with events which began thousands of years after European and Asian kingdoms/nations had established themselves
  4. I think we can both agree that either way both of you fan bases are embarrassing for holding on to a 10 year grudge
  5. What are these options. There's a big difference between 4, 3 and 2mil. She's probably gonna do around 2.5-3mil
  6. This Trump and Biden are the same rhetoric is so false. Yes, a complete arms embargo would be the most morally right decision, but that's not happening under any president and it benefits no one to be set on that point while ignoring actually realistic options. The Biden administration has been seriously working on a ceasefire deal (and this is documented by literally every news source, even ones that are vehemently anti us). Their May 31st deal proposal was literally initially accepted by both Israel and most factions in Palestine, but then fell through due to multiple obstacles and sabotages, including Trump literally telling Netanyahu to not agree to a deal, in order damage Harris' campaign, under promise of supplying even more weapons. So no, Biden/Harris and Trump are not the same. https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2024/9/2/biden-says-netanyahu-not-doing-enough-to-secure-gaza-ceasefire-deal https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cew1jkgd7n8o.amp https://amp.scmp.com/news/world/middle-east/article/3279216/us-believes-gaza-ceasefire-deal-unlikely-bidens-term-report-says
  7. If you listen she says "You yelled at me at a Grammy Party." The Grammys were in February. Ofc she can defend herself but if she's still losing sleep over rude photographers from 8 months ago then she'll have a tough time being a celebrity
  8. Honestly, I don't think so. Harris campaign from a political standpoint was actually pretty great. Yeah she has some embarrassing blunders (like the gender affirming care question this week), but those are really inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. She and her team had a very difficult job, replacing Joe who had terrible approval ratings and only having like 4 months to win over the public and it is an insane feat that they even achieved that. The only real issue with her stance is ofc Palestine, but that is an untenable position for any democratic candidate. No politician outright condemning and disparaging Israel would ever get donors behind them, let alone win the nomination, and yet many of their voters are strongly pro-Palestine (unlike Republicans who dgaf).
  9. You are ridiculous and your stance is not achieving anything. You people act like US foreign policy is based on Harris or Biden or Trump's personal opinions. The US makes dozens of billions because of their relationship with Israel + the big role Israel plays in the American IT & pharma industries. But more importantly, Israel is essential to US intelligence concerning the Middle East and now (more importantly than ever) Russia. So you can write aggressive paragraphs and rant about Harris all you want, you can get everyone you know to vote Jill Stein, the US will never stop supporting Israel as long as it is profitable for them. Unless you are planning on starting a revolution to take down the US government (in which case, power to you), a unilateral ceasefire is the only realistic option. The chances of this happening under a democratic presidency and congress are certainly higher than under MAGA, and no serious person can argue against that. While a unilateral ceasefire is obviously insufficient and inhumane, when hundreds of people are dying every day, an 'all or nothing' stance is 100% the morally wrong position. No sane person on this site supports the mass murder of dozens of thousands of innocent civilians, and people are allowed to also be concerned with domestic issues which affect them directly. Choosing to vote Harris, isn't choosing to prioritize domestic issues over America's support of Israel, because no citizen has the power to change that, regardless of who they vote. But it is peak political illiteracy to think that America's support of Israel under Trump and under Harris will look the same.
  10. And what does not voting change about this situation?
  11. ?? Adele literally has never hopped on anyone else's song and the only proper feature she's had was Chris Stapleton on a target only remix. Taylor is also very selective and only collaborates with her friends. She obviously wouldn't collab with Rihanna just because she's Rihanna
  12. Pls, no. Rihanna was asked and she had to answer someone. If she wants to collab with anyone, with the exception of maybe like Bey, Taylor or Adele, she can just call them up and they will 1000% agree
  13. when the right spins this negatively with all the tiktok diddy rumors
  14. Can she book the #1 she speaks of? Her last album did 98k first week and this one seems to be performing even worse. Tyler the Creator is expected to do 100k+ and Rod Wave & Sabrina at least 80k. Will she be fighting for a top 5 debut instead?
  15. The people in here blaming the AI not are ridiculous. Do you have this smoke for forums? Twitter? Discord? YouTube Comments sections? All places where people actually constantly tell others to k*ll themselves. The AI did nothing wrong. That poor child was obviously neglected at home and probably school too. What should be regulated is free access to GUNS
  16. Oh yeah right I forgot, of course. I was just looking at the most streamed songs. Future x Metro are actually below 2.5bil but 21 Savage x Metro Boom have 7.2bil from their 3 collab albums. Drake x Future have 6.3bil from their 1 collab album + 8 singles.
  17. I didn't know it was ever hers to lose? IPFI top female artists: 2018: Ariana Grande (#1) 2019: Taylor Swift (#1), Billie Eilish (#2), Ariana Grande (#3), Lady Gaga (#4) 2020: Taylor Swift (#1), Billie Eilish (#2), Ariana Grande (#3) 2021: Taylor Swift (#1), Adele (#2), Billie Eilish (#3), Olivia Rodrigo (#4) 2022: Taylor Swift (#1) 2023: Taylor Swift (#1), Lana Del Ray (#2) 2024 (predicted): Taylor Swift (#1), Billie Eilish (#2), Sabrina Carpenter (#3) (only listed artists in the overall top 10)
  18. Technically it is MØ and Major Lazer, although their collabs also included other people: MØ x Major Lazer: 3,946,123,778 (3 songs + tiny remixes) Ariana Grande x The Weeknd: 3,830,403,289 (4 songs + tiny remixes and live versions) Also bonus (ik the tweet specified male-female): Post Malone x Swae Lee: 3,905,616,965 (2 songs)
  19. Well politics determine the lives of the people and the tone of the culture which might in turn influence what they listen to
  20. During the Bush administration (Republican) R&B and Hip-hop music completely dominated the charts. Then with Obama (Democrat) we had dancepop takeover and then pure pop during his second term. With Trump (Republican) rap exploded again. Compare the amount of rap smashes during his last year (WAP, The Box, Rockstar, Savage, For the Night, Life is Good, What's Poppin+ more) to the 1 or 2 we get now. The Biden administration has been dominated by pop again. Is there a correlation?
  21. that's just because he is strategic about his submissions. silk sonic album + smokin out the window 100% would have lost the majority of their nominations but bruno decided not to submit. same case for wake up in the sky for rap/sung performance which would have been nominated and lost. DWAS is a locked win but ATP can easily lose. A nomination alone would be huge for Rose, but if it's Bruno's call, he might block the submission
