  1. So why have a problem with the woman speaking rather than the people that thread it excessively to your inconvenience? Zz
  2. The BPM of the snippet is 124, which tracks with the leaks
  3. i can see the appeal of it as a lead single in the vocal melodies, they're catchy. it's just midtempo and suburban legends coded with the production which many are tired of at this point
  4. you won't find that kind of deep bass or quirky synths here. this is more like 1989 vault track production
  5. sounds like a cinematic ballad she uses both her deep adult voice as well as imitating a kid when singing the song title very catchy melodies
  6. TW: Unhinged track 2 lyrics.
  7. I swear ever since she began working with Jack the vocals are mixed in way too loudly. Is there a chance some friend of his has taken over the vocal engineering process? It's very obvious when you listen to MTR vs rest of folklore too
  8. If the streams/sales stabilized to what they are today but radio increased over the next few weeks, would this have a chance to go #1?
  9. She's not even trying to hide it anymore. If I were Kesha I'd be livid. These new artists have no respect for the music industry - mind you, all of them have it so much easier than our faves did a decade ago.
  10. Not making a very solid case here for those criteria though.
  11. Sulli, unfortunately. Amber discussed her perception around the k-pop industry and how that might have affected her friend a number of times, including this interview.
  12. Care to share some excerpts of nonsensical lyrics? There's plenty of versatility (ballads/pop rock/deja vu's alternative production) in terms of production and generally I found the songs to have decent hooks.
  13. Be real now.. Nonsensical lyrics, vapid production and insipid melodies.. The idea of the song is actually interesting but the execution not so much. Now let's take a moment to cleanse our palate & appreciate good k-pop:
  14. The target cover has a very contemporary, youthful indie feel to it. I also like it a lot. Matches the aesthetic for g4u and deja vu very well in my opinion
  15. Do singles tend to leak these days anymore?
  16. And what's the issue with making a piano ballad?
  17. I didn't make your statement into anything, you yourself brought that forward and I reiterated that it's silly to believe that you can't empathize with one unless you empathize with all. You introduced grades of comparison for empathizing with people based on their social status - if they are rich they don't deserve it, and you supplement that with the belief that they had it coming. It's a psychopathic point of view. Someone may pay that exorbitant amount to go through the experience and anyone is right to be judgmental around the circumstances that allowed all of this to happen in the first place (mind you, your anger is directed at the people rather than the establishment that allows for this to be a reality), but the malfunction that led to them rotting at the bottom of the sea is still a tragedy that you can empathize with on a human level. Panic, anxiety, regret, grief are all the same regardless of how thick your wallet happens to be. The wrong premise here is that people shouldn't have an emotional response to a tragedy, then spinning it to suggest that it's performative because there are other struggles in the world, some of which you identify with yet don't see the same representation for. The anger is misdirected imo.
  18. "the core reason why people are in this site is because they like music/art, not because itโ€™s made by billionaires" Same thing applies here. People are empathizing with how a couple people in a constrained space went through a tragic event and died in the depths of the ocean. Imagine yourself in that scenario. Nobody focused on their social status until you brought your frustrations forward. Having money doesn't make you any less human. Empathizing with someone's death doesn't make you take on their beliefs. You got a lot of venom to spit and the highest standards for everyone. People can't express some humanity because.. someone's fighting for food somewhere in the world?
