Honestly, the party is great at using populism, misinformation and straight-up lies to blind their voters. If their voters knew what the party actually stands for, they would know that they won't benefit from it the slightest. It's just a camapaign fueled by racism. The same thing that happened in the US. Of course it doesn't help that the other big parties try everything in their power to lose voters.

I really enjoy TheBookGuy! His focus is fantasy and sci-fi, but i find his channel so refreshing because he doesn't take part in a lot of the oarts of BookTube i find annoying (hauls, tbr videos,…). And he has such a positive outlook on things that i admire. I also like this channel. Her videos have interesting perspectives on reading communities, the publishing industry etc.. And Shelly is my dose of commentary on more current ‚drama' and controversies. I think she articulates her points so well and always brings interesting perspectives.

Why are the most random YouTubers appearing on my feed trash-talking Katseye? I mean that whole „commentary" section of YouTube is a mess but what are we doing here? They should get some Hootie Frutti on their tongues

Really like the album! I think some songs are a bit tame for me, but overall a good offering. Midnight In New York might be one of my favorite songs released this year

Well it's not simply the problem that the students can't decode written words. The problem is rather that they cannot comprehend and engage with longer texts or difficult texts they will encounter at and after school.

I teach primary school in Germany and to a degree, we can also see these effects here. It's not as bad as in the US, i believe, but it's definitely noticeable. Now i personally think our problem is not enough funding and personnel in the pre-school sector. So many kids already come to us with big disadvantages in language, pre-literacy and pre-numeric skills and we cannot close that gap sufficiently. It's complex and there is no one root cause, but it's tough to witness.

I mean she's probably getting a big paycheck and is maybe gaining some new fans/listeners. And she's touring on her own later this year, so i don't think it's a big deal.
