After a turbulent divorce and a legal battle with her ex-husband regarding custody of their son and a six-figure alimony payment, it seems the Australian artist has returned to the studio after a long absence. The new song was composed by herself, along with her best friend Dallas Clayton, producer Jesse Shatkin ("Violet Chemistry," "Chandelier"), and Dylan Wiggins, aka Sir Dylan, who recently co-wrote/produced Rosalía's album "Lux," as well as hits for The Weeknd, SZA, Daniel Caesar, and Logic. Her last release was the album "Reasonable Woman" in 2024, considered by many to be merely a contractual obligation to the record label, since it was released when she gave birth to her third child, Somersault Wonder, and was unable to promote it. More recently, she has collaborated with David Guetta and Afrojack and co-wrote the comeback single for the Queen of Funk, Chaka Khan, titled "Chakzilla".

As I mentioned above, I don't use to read the synopsys or watch the trailer before watching, so I didn't expect to feel what the film was about to make me experience, I was in tears as well by the end.

I didn't know. I like to watch most movies without knowing the synopsis or seeing the trailer, just to be surprised. This one, along with "For My Brother" and "For a Lost Soldier," also had that controversial aspect involved.

As I shared with you last year, my old personal record of films watched with achillean themes, mostly gay involving cis men, trans men, and other denominations, today I reached a new milestone of 400 films with this theme. As I mentioned at the time, this initiative began in October 2022, when I realized that throughout my entire life I had only watched a single film with this theme. This triggered a wake-up call in myself, in the style of "Houston, we have a problem," since I am a gay man. The 400th film I saw with this theme was the animated film "Nimona," released in 2023 to universal acclaim. The film tells the story of a commoner knight who, under adverse circumstances, is accused of killing the queen and flees. He then encounters a mysterious creature that will make him realize that not everything is as it seems. In my opinion one of the best animated feature films of the decade so far.
