Tinashe - Popstar | Spotify: 3,39M (unfiltered) | Career high
This is good. I feel like I've seen more online hype and discussion around Tinashe the artist than ever before in the run up to this album

Rebecca Black - 'Age of The Exhibitionist'
Honestly given she is an independent artist and compared to her previous releases this is doing really well. She seems to be slowly but consistently getting bigger with each release.
-
Rebecca Black - 'Age of The Exhibitionist'
Those seem like really good numbers for her! I hope with the positive word of mouth the streams hold steady or even grow

Rebecca Black - 'Age of The Exhibitionist'
Such a good album, probably her best project. I wonder why she didn't make Pistol and Backstage Baby one track
-
Rebecca Black - "Anaheim Star"
This is like speakerphone's better sister
-
Rebecca Black - "Michael."
80,591 first day streams on Spotify and ~60k first day video views on YouTube. Promising start for her!
-
Rebecca Black - "Michael."
This is so good. My favourite of the 3 singles

Slayyyter - "brand new chanel$"
This is so so good

Spotify | Day 5: Music, Fashion, Film 4.5M (-11.97%)
These are pretty good numbers for Charli's 'American Life'
-
Rebecca Black - "Hot Wet Delirious"
I'm sure she must have courted some offers from labels at this stage given she's built up a (albeit niche) fanbase and can tour / book good festivals, but I reckon she must like the creative freedom and owning her masters. But all just speculation
-
Olivia Rodrigo - "stupid song"
I hope they don't wait too long to send this to radio. They should move on from drop dead, it's done its thing
-
Rose Gray - "Club to Your Arms"
Opens with 169,271 streams on Spotify, has reasonable playlist support too. Must be her biggest debut by far but don't know the numbers of her other releases
-
Rebecca Black - "Speakerphone"
Debuts with 76,072 streams on Spotify. I think TRUST! opened with ~55,000

Thoughts on r/popheads?
Less toxic than here. Popheads circle jerk is like the fun middle ground between ATRL and popheads
-
Leigh-Anne - 'My Ego Told Me To'
The album is really good, she's surpassed my expectations. The streaming isn't great, but I feel like it is to be expected given she is an independent artist. As long as her tour sells ok and she's able to sell merch & book festival dates, that's the main thing

JADE - 'THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! THE ENCORE'
I'm glad she was able to book a US tour, it's strange to me that they didn't upgrade more of the venues given most of it sold out pretty quickly. She also could've played larger venues in the UK, I'm not sure why they didn't further upgrade to more 5,000 capacity venues like Brixton O2 or the Brighton Centre after the tour sold out so quickly. I understand being initially cautious, but I even think the demand was there for a sold out night at Alexandra Palace

Addison debuts Crash and Burn at Spotify's BNA party
She's a good performer on stage. The choreography isn't especially complex but it's effective. When I saw her on tour the lighting was a real highlight. She's no vocalist but she can carry a tune. she has proved through her album, tour, and music videos that she has artistry and good taste

"Midnight Sun" (S) debuts on Global Spotify
It feels like Zara is on the edge of a real moment with Lush Life being so big again, Stateside rising up the charts (and the video), and this now finally gaining traction. I honestly think she should ready a new album for the summer - strike while the iron is hot
-
JADE - 'THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! THE ENCORE'
Half of the UK Top 50 right now is Christmas songs so I'm sure that's having a big impact on position. It'll be interesting to see what the numbers are like. Edit: 393K is okay. I think that's more than Fantasy, less than It Girl or FUFN. How does that compare to Plastic Box? Would've been nice to see a bit more with the playlist support.

1 year later: BB/Ang3l vs. Quantum Baby
333 and Songs For You >>> I would have rather a whole album rather than this trilogy
-
Is Dua finished?
She's on a huge tour right now and did two sold out nights at Wembley Stadium. Get offline and go in the real world for a sec
-
Addison Rae - 'Addison'
To think she is on track for a Top 10 album when Diet Pepsi debuted with ~500k streams on Spotify last August
-
JADE - "FUFN (F*ck You For Now)"
I really thought the album would be announced when FUFN dropped. I don't understand this strategy at all
-
JADE - "FUFN (F*ck You For Now)"
I really hope they announce the album when this drops. It's great she's booking festival slots like Glastonbury but she will need an album out by then to perform!

Rebecca Black - 'SALVATION'
Oh wow, this is a very strong EP
