Casual listener but Manon leaving is literally irreparable to this group . I've kept up with a LOT of ggs and imo no exit feels as dramatic as this one. Their label has somehow did the impossible and made a 5-member group feel unbalanced both visually and formation wise. It goes to show that charisma & star power will shine over dancing/vocals in girl groups every time. Side note: this song sucks

Feels like EVERY week there's a new hot topic around them esp after the 1-2-3 punch of Gnarly/Lollapollza/Gap ad. Plus, after watching Lola, they seem genuinely talented (the choreo and them singing live the entire time ) Is this a one era dud or do we have a new group of supremes?

She’s definitely the biggest pop star out rn. I don’t mean to make this a Tay vs Bey thing but I do think Bey being a Black woman in her 40’s with another arguable peak is a tad bit more “unconventional” though. As much as nobody wants to acknowledge it, that’s a huge feat (especially consider Beyoncé is certainly… controversial to any demographics beside her own). Taylor is tall, white, skinny, and blond. Pretty much THE most “acceptable” pop star in the world. Bey’s kinda the opposite, which is why I would put her ahead due to how unconventional her brand is as a whole. Both are doing amazing for themselves though

I think the lyrical content puts Sour to shame for sure, but there are a lot of lyrics that would sound unnecessarily corny coming from anyone else. But because Olivia’s teenage angsty brand is so well crafted she gets away with it (and her delivery on some of these songs is AMAZING bad lyrics or not). Overall I think she surpassed mine and most peoples expectations of her sophomore album. Not sure how it’s gonna age but her pen is amazing.

I haven’t posted on this site in MONTHS but I just wanted to say that Vigilantes **** is genuinely one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard in my life. I sat there for like 5 minutes afterwards looking at my screen because I couldn’t process how absolutely terrible it was.
