The album is full of highlights but L.E.S. Girl is making me emotional today It might be her best closer (I was gonna say since Gone but forgot about American Pie ) It's so moving to have her reminisce about her younger self with a much simpler life, whose dream was to be the most successful artist on the planet. I know she's not keen on nostalgia but she came up back when the NY scene was at its peak, and it's fascinating to hear about. I find her career to be unbelievable and people tend to forget how much she's seen/lived/done because of she's never left the spotlight.

Y'all are being a bit dramatic, streaming has simply made it easier to see the longevity of songs/albums and how much a viral event or trend can help the consumption of an older catalogue. Had streaming existed in the 70s/80s, we would've probably seen a similar trend with older acts lingering on because older generations would still consume them.
