  1. oh my god the discourse in here I am a kesha stan and honestly did not like joyride. I think I've played twice since it came out. incredibly happy for what it did for her but I was not here for her Charli xcx, molly'd out gay brand of pop. Delusional however???? THIS is my ****!
  2. LMTWGR not making top ten is a crime... Happy to see IAL is making it though. If I did this rate today instead of two weeks ago that would've got my 11!
  3. Here for this. I used to get my life to Beauty Killer, Get Away With Murder, Prisoner and Lollipop Luxury when I was in middle school. I enjoyed his Akon releases too.
  4. Her whole discography is still so good. Absolutely love this song and album.
  5. My roommate and I became friends in Chicago about two years ago because we worked together. We got super tight, he was in one of my music videos, we were cool. He was moving to New Jersey to open up a branch of the company we work for. He asked me to go with him. I initially declined but ended up coming. We've roomed together the past year. We've had arguments here and there but always talk it out. Since last year, he's had trouble running his business and I've been his only reliable (and at most times, only, period) employee. We do outside sales and I ranked #1 nationwide last year and both quarters this year. With that said, I've contributed quite a bit to his company and I decided to leave at the end of our lease next month. Corporate has been down his throat a little bit because they're concerned what he's going to do without me. Since I told him I'm leaving for sure, he's been doing petty things like this.
  6. girl if broke down the whole situation, y'all would have a kii. it's such a joke.
  7. I completely agree with you. You can see my previous replies for some more context on the current relationship between my roommate and I. This was absolutely done to be petty.
  8. I agree I am. For context, as somebody that knows him, he started the message with a condescending tone. He doesn't call me "girl". He is also my boss; I'm the sole employee of his company and he has been upset for the past couple weeks that I'm returning home to Chicago when our lease is up. With that said, he's been acting especially weird towards me the past three days and this whole situation is out of character for him. Definitely agree I could've been nicer but he was baiting me and I absolutely took it.
  9. I completely agree with this statement. The cat is 110% my responsibility. You don't leave food out on the counter for days in a shared space especially when there's an animal in the house. And I had already cleaned up the wings several times. I also offered to get rid of the tray of chicken wings for him.
  10. For context, we haven't got along in months and the lease ends next month; then we're done.
  11. Hey guys! I'm at my wits end with my current roommate and just want to come on here and get an unbiased consensus of who's wrong and who's right in this situation. For context, I have a cat and have never once asked my roommate to clean up after the cat. However, for the past three days there's been a tray of eaten chicken wings left out in the open on the island. They are not my chicken wings. My cat is trained to not jump up on the countertops. However, as animals often do, when I'm asleep or at work and there's open food left out...he jumps on the countertops. For the past 3 days I've been picking chicken wings off the floor because the cat has been getting into them. Last night my roommate added MORE chicken wings to the tray. I woke up this morning to chicken wings scattered across my floor. I picked them up, went to go get coffee, and when I returned home there were MORE chicken wings on the floor. At this point I was going to throw the tray of chicken out myself. The rest goes as pictured below. Let me know what you guys would do!
  12. That's a lyric from Delusional....she knows we want it
  13. How did we get here...
  14. I agree with everything said here. She is honestly a phenomenal actress but unfortunately she was typecast due to how huge Scream was/is. I wasn't aware those roles she was up for at the time, though. I wonder why she passed on Requiem or a Dream (Tomb Raider I can understand). I think her not being a bigger actress is partly her fault though as well. She took a huge break when she moved to London and apparently passed on some projects that probably would've helped catapult her past Scream a bit more. I do remember reading something where she said something along the lines of the fame being too much post-Scream, so I can understand that. Thankfully, I think Scream kind of set her up for life and continues to so at least she's good on that front.
  15. she really nailed the vibe of this whole album. every song brings such a strong wave of melancholy, I can't explain it
  16. Aw, thanks girlie. I hope u like it
  17. Not at all defending the stalking or extreme behavior but I'm sorry, if a seemingly normal fan walks up to you on the street to simply say hello, tell you how much your art means to them, possibly a photo...you are absolutely entitled to give that to them. They quite literally pay your bills. You do not have to pretend to be in an amazing mood if you're not or even act like you care if you truly don't. But to pursue music as your career path and then act flabbergasted that people want to take photos with you? That's insane. Chappell was more than welcome to make art from her bedroom and keep working a drive-thru but she clearly didn't want to do that. I'm saying this as a musician myself. I have almost 40k monthly listeners on Spotify (which is next to nothing compared to this girl) and if every single one of those people saw me at a music festival/at Starbucks/wherever it maybe, I am absolutely taking a photo with every single one of them whether I'm in the mood to or not because that is what I signed up for in pursuing a career as a musician. I can't walk into my day job and tell my boss that writes my paychecks every Friday morning that he's not entitled to my time. Like hello? He would tell me "okay, then you're not entitled to a paycheck". I'm also not equating fans to being the boss of an artist because they're absolutely not, but if I recall correctly, Chappell was dropped once before, correct? Because the fans weren't buying her music, tickets or merch. She doesn't HAVE to perform at the VMA's, she doesn't HAVE to post on social media every day, she doesn't HAVE to tour, she quite literally doesn't HAVE to do anything outside of creating music if THAT'S all she wants to do. But given that she IS doing all of these things, it appears she wants to be able to make a living off of her music and if that's the case...Girl, shut up and take the photo because nobody was asking her for those when she worked in a drive thru.
  18. Katy was only dragged into it because...of Luke....
