It’s truly insane to me how people have dehumanized artists lately, the utter lack of common decency and respect is v real! I can’t shake the images of her family chilling with her backstage pre-show (being supportive of their daughter/ sister / cousin etc) and then having running off the stage with her to the hospital because of this senseless act of violence. also: the pathetic low-life coward who committed this crime premeditated this, there’s a tik tok of him saying how excited he is for the track he assaulted her during, I hope the District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, collects all relevant evidence they need without court objection to put this man under state custodial care because he evidently needs it.

To my understanding they had a 4 album deal with Sony, and they are trying to get out of it, so they are both releasing solo projects and going indie after … not sure on the details but sounds like a smart / creative business decision, most bands that are stuck in deals just release garbage on the back end of their contract running out with the intention to go indie, so it’s nice to see them knock both contract obligations out at the same time and have fun doing it lol. also: if they decide to tour their solo projects they would probably tour it together and come together for a random 3 song set together at the end of the show idk.
