With each release over the past years it feels like the conversation has become this very para-social attachment to Taylor's success. It doesn't seem to matter that the rapid-fire release of music degrades and diminishes with each release, so long as it's successful that's all that matters? It's as if Taylor fans believe that somehow her success benefits them somehow? A very different example but with Kim Petras she got sucked into the mainstream machine and her fans were blatantly like "no this is generic crap" and so she fought tooth and nail to get her career back on track. Shouldn't Taylor fans be demanding the same?
