  1. I've never managed to finish this song. Such a random #1 hit for her. Can anyone tell us about how/why this topped the charts? No shade — I love Madonna, have listened to all her studio albums, I'm just curious what the narrative/momentum was surrounding her at this time? Hype from Vogue? The movie was a smash? Idk. it'd be like if in 20 years, and young Gaga fans discover that Till It Happened To You went #1 what's going on?
  2. Hearing Swine live would heal me
  3. -4 How Bad Do U Want Me -3 Shadow of a Man -2 Garden of Eden -1 Zombieboy this was so hard 😭
  4. Will the be tickets left for the Ticketmaster presale on the 2nd? I didn't know there was a citi card presale today and I don't have a citi card. Are people sharing their 6 digit citi card numbers on here or is that insane?
  5. Is this the girl that flashed the audience "on accident"?
  6. How are the streams holding up vs Chromatica in its 20th day?
  7. Have you heard Can't Stop The High yet? It's exactly what I wanted from her in this vein, along with Perfect Celeb & Disease
  8. Not y’all forgetting Gagaville in the ads rate Google Chrome, FarmVille, and the Chroma Oreos are her Trinity
  9. Best is between DITD and DIC edge goes to Dancin in Circles for me For worst, I’m sure Jewels n Drugs will win but it’s kinda a guilty pleasure. Americano is the one I go back to least
  10. Absolute classic idc if it’s “selling out” — they made a timeless, catchy, relatable banger
  11. The Edge of Glory is just a perfect piece of music. Beautiful melodies, memorable and relatable lyrics, a *TIMELESS* production, gorgeous sax solo from Clarence Clemons, and an absolutely anthemic, fist-pumping chorus. It’s just perfect Haven’t even mentioned the iconic intro/outro. I remember exactly where I was when TEOG dropped and I listened for the first time. It was 8th grade, me and my friend were both still closeted but loveddd Gaga and we were left completely bald. Replayed it like 3 times. It will have a revival one day, I’m sure of it. Maybe not for another 20 years, but it will absolutely happen honorable mentions: Alejandro, Bad Romance, LoveGame, Yoü and I. Applause, Alejandro, and Dope (so underrated) are just a tier below. Honestly I could keep going because most of her Top 10’s are 10/10 songs that hit different vibes/moods.
  12. Can ATRL please just be a fun place to talk about music, pop culture, and discuss our favorite artists? I understand having an occasional kii. But this is just so ******* stupid. It’s not even clever, it’s just deranged monsters/hive cherry-picking streaming stats on a random day. “Gaga has ____ songs out streaming ___ ENTIRE Beyoncé albums!” ”We’ll, Beyoncé has ____ songs out streaming THESE ____ Gaga albums!” It’s a back and forth that will never end because we can all pick stats to boost our fave in a million different combinations, and the stats change on the daily due to music/viral trends. It’s so old at this point. Why don’t we compare high-points(and even low-points) in each of these artists careers? Acknowledge the influence they’ve had on each other? What impact they’ve had on music culture? There is infinitely more interesting things to discuss. The people who make these threads (the Gaga ones too!) honestly just seem like losers who have nothing happening in their life.
  13. @Bey Admired you are impossible to take seriously. For someone so comfortable throwing around accusations of racism, you seem perfectly fine littering casual homophobic language in this thread. Disregarding + marginalizing “white twinks” and their listening patterns. Multiple times in this thread. Maybe you should address your internalized homophobia before blasting others for their (supposed) external racism. OT: Where are the numbers that Apple Music has a majority black audience? I know rap/r&b music performs better on the platform, but I’ve never seen any numbers based on race/demographics. Coming from an Apple Music subscriber. And it’s all moot when we think about this critically. Spotify provides cold, hard numbers to use in petty stan-wars. Apple Music does not. Spotify is more popular world-wide. I’ve never seen a particular song perform exceptionally well on Apple Music vs Spotify to a point where their H100 chart placement seems suspicious/they’re not getting their flowers. This whole thread seems ******* dumb and looking for a dark issue when there isn’t one.
  14. We Found Love, those first few chords would be such an iconic opening All of the Lights would also be iconic
  15. Papa Don’t Preach Like A Virgin Music Bedtime Story Don’t Tell Me Human Nature Forbidden Love Vogue Lucky Star Crazy For You was listening to Bedtime Stories a lot today, lucky star/music both feel so random to me
