It's crazy how about 10 years before the song came out she had been written out by stans and a percentage of the GP just to release a song that would become one of the biggest songs of all time and top the YEC over a decade after her slump era. The real conversation we should be asking here is if any MPG would be able to experience a resurgence like this AFTER a massive slump era. Cause I truly think she is the only one that can and always will find a way to. I mean her #1 longevity is on par with Madonna now

And why did they call her specifically? Why didn't they call anyone else?

When she can write her first solo #1 since 2011, then we'll talk. No one has doubted her writing ability: we're baffled at the unparalleled growth of her streams not translating to the charts. No complete album bomb, no solo singles have lasted more than a week in the top 10 since before the panini, and still her fanbase remains as insufferable and racist as ever. Please stream your girl a solo #1 hit.
