Kesha’s Rainbow had a home run straight to No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart this week with a total of 10,000 total consumption units that combine track sales with on-demand streams.

 

The album is also the top selling release with combined CD and album-downloads totally 7,000 copies. This is her second chart-topping album and the first since her debut release, 2010’s Animal, entered at No. 1 in January 2010.

Well, Canada don't buy albums like they used to, and even in the past, you reach platinum if you sold 100k, but since 08, they changed it to 80k.
