A Belanova mention on ATRL?

I have no idea if they were bigger or had more longevity than Juanes, but I will be voting for them anyways while streaming this masterpiece

Personally I'd go with Belanova, one of my faves when it comes to latin pop. However, I think Juanes has had a longer career, even though he doesn't make the noise that he did in the early 00's.

People voting more longevity for Belanova when he's been doing arenas, festivals and more here in Europe in places like Budapest, Berlin, Madrid, etc. in the past years.

Belanova is far and wide better than Juanes. Juanes is just Mana with a Manu Chao wig. Belanova had a unique aesthetic to them and their first album is still one of the greatest Mexican pop albums to exist. Belanova was doing the electro pop style of Dulce Beat months before Madonna dropped Confessions and that is NOT to discredit Madonna for her reinventions but just to show how ahead of the curve Belanova was too. They are very underrated nowadays with the whole corridos tumbados wave that have infiltrated Mexican radio. Gone are the days of the balladeers and great pop musicians that dominated Mexican charts.

I prefer Juanes, but I love Belanova too. I just realized my favorite songs from them have similar names: Por Ti from Belanova and Es Por Ti from Juanes

Never heard about Belanova.

Juanes has some amazing classics but Belanova electropop was very unique and dreamy in a landscape with rock-ballads-latin music.

Juanes was also a bitter jealous *** to Shakira. All the medellin artists are pressed about her. So next.

Juanes was definitely bigger. Belanova had some cute bops tho. Rosa pastel slaps hard at millenial weddings.
