This song is so good!!! I love the energy and melodies!

And the new album... I'd love that boxset but it's really expensive. Might just buy the vinyl and a long sleeve tshirt because they're so cool.

I wish she reissued MATA, but seeing how she spoke about that album on a recent livestream took away my hopes of that happening

This was during her March 16th live on Instagram.

She said MATA was recorded around the time she was making her documentary. Now I quote:
"And everyone was like: Be Tamil! Be your Tamil self! This is your identity!...And it's like, no it wasn't. And I'd already spent my entire life breaking out of being in a ******* box. And I got gaslit into the box. So I was really torn about being in the box and being out of the box. Because my true self at the time was already going through a spiritual transition"

...and later she went on to say that she didn't really need to make this album because the themes she sang about there were already present in all her previous work and she should have instead listened to where God was leading her.

Hearing this really broke my heart cause I thought MATA was such a powerful return to form and it felt like Kala's sister record. But oh well.

I'm still excited for M.I.7
