This is gonna be the best pop album of the year I swear to God... Columbia/Records come collect your flowers!!

The quality of the album has nothing to do with the labels, but Slayyyter herself. suburban They are responsible for promotion and they aren't getting any flowers so far, but I'm glad they are letting her do her thing instead of trying to chase radio hits.

Well, sorta kinda. They've given her the resources to fully execute on her vision, whether that's the visuals, A&Rs, creative direction, etc. It's clear she's being well supported rn and that's letting her flourish suburban

nothing released in NZ/AU noparty

I'd guess in next two weeks it comes out. Maybe last week of February since it'll be a month till album then?

Not sure if that's the best idea to release a final pre-release single 1.5 months before the album but if there's hype, who knows.... hopefully the mv is shot already

This rollout feels a bit messy (not that it really matters) but I don't think I'm exaggerating by saying this could end up being the best/my fav pop album of the last ~5 years.

how!? this is her best rollout yet and generally speaking a really good rollout. starting it last summer dropping it this spring, almost like Addison's rollout. gives the singles enough time to resonate with people & also pull in new fans in the year before the album, then first half of the next year drop a few more singles & then the album to create the perfect climax

I hate a long rollout.. I get impatient like gimme it already… That's just a me problem though I guess ducky

Long rollouts usually do end up faring better in the end for "new" artists. You kind of have to introduce yourself and your sound through the campaign so doing that with 1-2 singles doesn't really hit the same (and gives you way less material to work with) compared to a good 4+ single rollout. It also helps when they're all good like we're seeing here lol. Remember how Dua's first album had like 10 singles? Her team knew clap3

I wish it was one that has already leaked, but that's my fault for playing them. That being said she deserves her BRAT moment. The album might be too abrasive for that, but the gays could be on board enough for her biggest moment so far

I better see this on my NZ spotify in an hour

Looks like it'll be a timed release, since it's not out in New Zealand.

Music video out tomorrow too! A budget one she said but she always has served good quality with a budget

Kinda hate her for always posting snippets of the best parts of the songs so far ahead that I overplay them jonny2
