Not yet, but Tate does it all. She's learning and starting to produce her own beats. As a nominee of Songwriter of the Year for 2025, I wouldn't be surprised to see Tate win a sound engineering award within the next 10 years. Girl is a sponge and machine

Is that a degree? Idk if they have one, but I'm pretty sure Gaga, Ariana, Shakira and Tove Lo can record, produce and master by themselves. I don't think Rihanna and Adele can, but idk.

Honestly, these artists should get a lot more acclaim for this than they do. There's so much focus on songwriting abilities, but production and mixing often makes or breaks a song and is arguably way more difficult to learn. It takes years of discipline and practice.

Shakira can do it all. But she also works with professionals even tho she always has the final word.

Yes bang chan is im pretty sure. He produces all of SKZ music and does everything else.

They write and produce all these music it's why they are kings. Not like pop girls with 100 writers

Yeah, people should give them more credit. Songwriting will remain the most credibility providing asset because in their minds people associate it with literature, and literature with intellectualism (even tho they're different mediums), and that's just how it is unfortunately
