People said she's over but her song going Top20 without any radio payola/ music video/ heavy spotify playlisting. 

 

Its a hit. Y all overlook to top20 hits but in fact for billboard standards any song that goes Top40 and spends 20 or more weeks on the chart is a hit. 

 

This song's success alone is a proof her upcoming album got potential to do over 80-100k in its first week which is amazing for her "standards" and being in the business for about 10 years. 

I def think she can do 100k first week. Especially if she had good promo and atleast 2 or 3 music videos before the albums out

Anything under 100k is unacceptable for Cardi regardless of how long she's been out. I mean I know iTunes doesn't mean much but she still went #1 and is #2 on Apple Music. An artist with hits like WAP and UP shouldn't debt less than 100k.

Yes, they typically lowball and the number usually go up. I think top 20 is a sure bet and it might get top 15/10.

 

the song will either peak in week 1 or during the album release or shortly afterwards so it has multiple opportunities to peak once radio keeps it steady.

 

I wonder if it can get top maybe top 20/20 on top 40 radio.

 

 

I really believer this song will be the Moneybag/Bartier cardi/Drip of the album: bops but bottom 3. I think she will serve some hotter singles throughout the upcoming era.

 

Longevity is key and iF Altantic is ok with not include WAP (instant platinum upon release and other tracks that could push it to 2x platinum upon release) then they might have a reason.

As it is business savvy, Outside was put out there once the GPs reaction made it viral. Often times catchiness and songs that fit the culture for the moment bring people in/bring people back in.

 

I have a feeling they'll issue a bunch of remixes/slow down sped ups and maybe pull a quick cheap performance video like they did with Enough.

 

But the main thing is that for a 9th year Cardi is serving hits but we'll see if this will give her an 8th year of top 10 hits this summer.
